Calm before the Storm

A quiet week before the kids break up for half-term and heading to London for the week. Lots of hiking (in the sunshine and rain) and lots of hanging out with the kids and watching them participate in their after school activities (football and running) and Abigail also tried out the local Girl Guides. We also enjoyed a visit to the local children's farm to pick and carve some pumpkins and see some of the farm animals (Ben now wants a Guinea Pig).

Come on England!!!

We did squeeze in a trip to Bolton to the Rugby League World Cup to watch England v France. Great game and victory by England. We also have tickets for the finals later in November so fingers crossed England make it through all the way to the big game being held at Old Trafford. England v New Zealand final would be good :-)
