Visits to a few old stomping grounds during March with a few days down in Nottingham with Nanna and Grandad and then a weekend away in Manchester with the kids. As hard as I tried I couldn't get tickets to see Forest play Everton so I had to settle to listening to it on the radio. Was lovely to visit a few familiar sights around Nottingham and catch up with old friends and was nice for Nanna to see some of her old friends.

The City Ground, Slab Square/Town Hall, Nottingham and Central Avenue, West Bridgford.

The weekend in Manchester included a visit to the recently re-opened Manchester Museum and the Golden Mummies of Egypt exhibition, lunch at the Albert Schloss Bavarian cook haus, some retail therapy and house sitting at my sister's condo in Ancoates. We then enjoyed pancakes and waffles at the Canadian Moose Cafe which the kids loved. Combined with a visit to Tim Horton's it was a very Canadian Affair!!!
