Covid Christmas!!

Unfortunately we had a bit of a Covid Christmas this year with both Josie and my sister testing positive, on top of a number of people with flu and a bit of a drama-ridden build up to Christmas with my mum ill since mid-December and admitted to hospital with a virus the week before Christmas. Fortunately after 5 nights in hospital and plenty of antibiotics and fluids she was released in time for us to spend Christmas together (albeit with some people self-isolating and masked up!!!). It wasn't the Christmas any of us had planned or wanted but we did get to spend Christmas together at Center Parcs and Santa followed the kids from Canada to the UK and delivered lots of gifts so they were happy...
Christmas build up included -8 temperatures - Carols in the Village and Rotary Club Santa
Harry Potter Forbidden Forest - a magical pre-Christmas experience
Christmas Day presents (Ben thinks he's Harry Kane in the full England kit)
Centre Parcs at Christmas - made the best of a bad situation with flu, COVID and illness
Gingerbread house making with friends Margo and Zlata
Rock climbing and bowling during Christmas holidays (Dad enjoyed the bowling)
Ice skating and the Christmas illuminations in Blackpool

I hope everyone mends quickly. Looks like you made the best of it. That enchanted forest looks wonderful. Happy New Year!
