Penrith in the Sunshine

Nice sunny day today and so we jumped in the Touran and went an hour up the road to Penrith in central Cumbria. After re-fuelling on coffee, toasted teacakes and bacon butties we headed to Penrith Castle and into town. From Abigail "We visited Penrith and Penrith Castle today and climbed the red tower and the remains of the castle. We then went into the town and had fish and chips. We then went shopping and I went to look for a new sun hat to wear in the sun." From Ben "I loved the fish and chips and playing at the Castle".
