Rugby League World Cup

Well it wasn't to be for the England men's or women's team in the Rugby League World Cup final, although England did win the wheelchair final! Despite England not making it through in the men's and women's we did enjoy a weekend in Manchester and supported New Zealand and Samoa in trying to beat the dominant Australian teams. It was a great game and atmosphere being played in front of 65,000 at Old Trafford Football Ground. The rest of the weekend was spent doing what the kids wanted which included Ice Skating, Tinsel Town fairground, Sea Life aquarium and eating/shopping.

We also enjoyed some tastes of home with a visit to Tim Hortons in Manchester Old Trafford for coffees, breakfast muffins and a box of Timbits! The kids were very happy for that particular taste of home...
