Winter warmer....

The log burner has been getting plenty of use as we hit another cold snap this month with a couple of dustings of snow, but plenty more cold and icy days (although we much prefer this cold but sunny weather to the normal grey, perm-a-drizzle). Mum's birthday provided a welcome break in January and a good excuse to get everyone together in the local pub. Unfortunately there's still plenty of seasonal flu and bugs around with Ben off school for a week and Abigail down with a 24hr stomach bug during January. We are all already looking forward to putting winter behind us and springing forward in the near future.

Dusting of snow down on the shore made for some great winter beach walks
It also made for some slippy sidewalks and roads...
Preston North End v Norwich (Preston got hammered 4-0). Ben loved the food & sweets :-)
